Nathan Stovall, director of financial institutions research at S&P Global Market Intelligence, can discuss how higher interest rates and inflation will impact the competitive landscape, community bank profitability and institutions strategies, and share his proprietary community bank projections.
Nathan Stovall, with 17 years' experience covering the banking sector, is a principal analyst for the FIG Research offering of S&P Global Market Intelligence. His primary responsibilities include covering and analyzing financial institutions, with a focus on the banking industry.

He is the author of the banking blog, Street Talk, and host of the podcast by the same name. His in-depth analysis of the banking industry, including a focus on community banks, can be found on SPGMI's Research & Analysis feature, which includes historical and forward-looking performance figures.

During his tenure, he has regularly covered and participated on the conference circuit, moderating panels and webinars focused on major issues facing banks. Daniel Anderson is a Managing Director in the Strategies and Analytics Group at Stifel. In his role he helps depositories with balance sheet management and investment portfolio strategies, as well as evaluation of asset/liability exposure and liquidity management.

Daniel has more than ten years of experience working with community banks and credit unions, primarily in fixed income product areas and asset/liability management. Prior to joining Stifel in 2022, Daniel worked as a Strategist at Vining Sparks for over 5 years. He previously served as an Asset/Liability Analyst from 2010 to 2014 with another regional broker-dealer. He began his career in bond accounting in 2008.

Daniel attended the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2007. Daniel holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

During this session, you'll learn about the history of PACE and how PACE has become an important part of capital stacks, especially in development projects. Attendees will also hear about future plans regarding funding sources and other market developments.
Chris is Program Manager of Energize Kentucky which is a PACE financing Program Administrator for participating local governments throughout Kentucky. Energize Kentucky was created in 2015 and since that time, along with his PACE work in Ohio, has been part of a team that has facilitated over $700 million in PACE financing for energy efficiency & renewable energy projects.

Prior to PACE financing, Chris worked in private contracting a General Manager for both a spray foam insulation company and heating & cooling company. He also was a Sales Leader for a green products showroom. Chris’s passion is assisting building owners in reducing their energy consumption.

Chris was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky. He has a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Kentucky and also lettered as a UK basketball walk-on during the 1988-89 season.

What Dan anticipated being the thrill of a lifetime ended up being the spill of a lifetime. The stunt went terribly wrong and Dan plummeted 75 feet before crashing into the stadium seats. Miraculously Dan survived. He spent 9 days in the hospital and got some really big scars. Dan smiles when he says, “Scars are just Tattoos that come with a Cool Story”.
